FYI, there are artists today in Britain who speak agasnit the injustices of today’s world, whether it’s about criminal bankers or illegal wars or the Israeli occupation of Palestine, especially in music (tbf, maybe not through their song, but certainly in interviews and their own activism). People like Robert Del Naja from Massive Attack, Damon Albarn, Billy Bragg, etc. Damon Albarn was an outspoken critic of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, he and Robert Del Naja took out ads in the NME agasnit the Iraq war, Massive Attack refused to play in Israel because of the illegal occupation of Palestine, and MA’s live shows are notorious for the way they use video installations to criticize everything from police brutality, abuse of human rights to extraordinary rendition. Would be really great if you could get Robert Del Naja on KR, it would be really interesting to hear his opinion on current events. Also, will you cover the SOPA story in an upcoming episode of KR? IMO, this is the most dangerous law in Congress today and if passed could lead to widespread censoring of the internet. Thank you.

Tats are going to be SO Un-cool very soon .as people try to dnicaste themselves away from the New Labour bubble .I 100% agree with Max, as someone whom saw the Sex Pistols live in Manchester & spoke to them afterwards i agree that Grass roots Art is needed.As an ex rioter myself (Toxtheth 81) I wonder WHY we have not seen any major riots. Partly its because people have been allowed to borrow as much as they like but i think its the video game geration ..every year @ Xmas i go to visit Mum, & every year the Kids would be up & down the street riding brand new Bikes they got for Xmas.Well One year, no kids!, no new bikes??????I found one kid by himself on a new bike & asked him where his mates where? They all got Nitendo’s this year, they at home eating chessy puffs playing games .So this poor Losser (Whom grew up fit & healty) was left to get fit on his bike, while the others were being taught to be come Fat SOBS incabable of bugger all .expect living in imaginey Worlds .& eating Cheesy puffs!Hence, when i see Iraq people getting killing i get pissed, while the Nintendo generation do bugger all!Max, the only hope is IF the Cheesy puffs run out or GAME OVER suddenly appears infront of them.Mike

i went on my own weight loss rmgeie. i milked cows on a dairy in tasmania for 18months. i ate huge breakfasts, but, the amount of energy i expended over a dairy workers day, far outweighs your input, so, if your output is more than your input, you can eat whatever you like, and not gain weight. i am living proof, ive been doing this for 24yrs, and have not gained anything, or at times very,very, little. of course, it does help that i dont drive, so i have to walk to buses and train stations.

First of all, nobody fears Iran, Israel at least. Second, Yael is not posnitg these attacks trying to attract sympathy, only to inform worldwide individuals what are the reasons for the next war on Gaza when it will happen. Israelis as individuals and Israel as a state can take care of its own of its enemies. If it wasn’t for USA, Israel was(and is) ready to bomb the hell out of Iran.Third, if you try to read a little bit of Israel history, you’ll see that Israel as a state you do everything to protect its citizens and soldiers. FYI, the second war with Lebanon in 2006 started when Hizbollah killed 3 Israelis soldier, that was enough for the Israeli government and army to start an military operation on Hesbollah and Lebanon. Hassan Nasrallah is still hiding in an underground bunker since then and didn’t came out yet.Seal is gay.Either you are stupid or you pretend to be one.

Thanks for making me feel so special!The occupation and subsequent lock-down only help to enforce the image of the school as a privileged institution for the few, and have failed to crystallize into anything more than assertion of the student’s right to voice their opinion, which is a right that was never under threat to begin with. It is time for the rest of us to voice our opinion.Leave the yard and return to classes. You are the 1% and must reconcile yourself to this fact. If you cannot do this, then take action and drop out.

The language is a dead give-away. The “they” you refer to remdins me of the treatment of drug addicts, prostitutes, the unemployed, single parents, asylum seekers, muslims, jews in the 30′s. etc etc. Is it called othering, fitting into boxes or marginalising? Either way, a simple illustration of how mainstream normals fail miserably to understand people who live beyond their own experiences. Is this not called conservative (small c)? Without being over the top, I honestly believe that the term cyclist, from such a perspective, is an equally derogatory label.Can I suggest a language campaign to smear those car drivers who lust after soft, expensive leather car interiors with all the latest electronic gadgets?
